A Container for Every Refill

At Fullfill, you can bring your own containers, or you can take one of ours for free with every refill. We’ve got all kinds: Mason jars, matching metal canteens, Seahawks growlers, fancy soap dispensers. Different kinds because every person, every home, every product, every refill habit is different, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the best fit for your needs.

I use a lot of different containers for my refills (pictured from left to right below):

• Stainless steel growlers for cooking oils because I have to commute to get these and really don’t want them to break. They are nonreactive with oil and double-walled to resist temperature changes, keeping oils fresh. It’s easy to fill them from the top from a dispenser. Handles make it easier to refill wine bottles with pour spouts that I use for cooking

• Original HDPE plastic container for cleaning vinegar, diluted into spray bottles

• Delis for liquid soaps and shampoos, refilled into existing dispensers

• Airtight glass food jars for citric acid and un-bleach (sodium percarbonate) powders

• Sunscreen dispenser refilled directly because I don’t need a backup supply

• Wide mouth jar for laundry detergent so I can dip a tablespoon inside

I’m still adjusting! I recently upsized my cooking oil refill container to reduce my commute frequency. I would like to try a narrow-mouth container to pour laundry detergent instead of scooping it. I use blue painter’s tape for labels, which works but doesn’t look great. My dish soap dispenser is kind of broken; while it works well enough, I’m subconsciously looking for a new one.

When I see it I’ll know. I learned that objects can inspire when I was a kid, going to garage sales with my dad. I remember card tables, baskets, clothing racks, shelves filled with styles, materials, histories, stories that gave me new ideas, that got me more excited than for what I was originally looking for. I want Fullfill’s customers to feel the same way; I want them to feel like they’ve found treasure.

All of our free containers and dispensers are pre-used. We buy them secondhand or take donations and restore them if needed. Bring your old ones in if they’re no longer being used and we’ll help find them new homes! We like containers with airtight seals. What are your favorite containers and why?
